SCOTTSBLUFF-GERING'S ONLY FULLY LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY
A proud past...and a promising future.
Jolliffe Funeral Home had it's beginning in Scottsbluff in 1962, when Richard A. Jolliffe, from the Ft. Morgan-Brush area of Colorado, purchased half interest in the Benson-Coulthard Funeral Home. The business was renamed Benson-Jolliffe Funeral Home at that time. In 1968, Richard’s brother, William, joined him in the operation of the business, and remained a partner until 1984, when he left to pursue other business interests.
In 1984, Patrick T. Parks, an employee of the funeral home since 1972, became a partner and remains active in the day to day operation of the business. Also in 1984, Jeffrey A. Jolliffe, Richard’s son, joined the firm as a partner, and remains active in the operation of the funeral home as well. In 1991, the firm added a funeral home in Bridgeport, Nebraska, and in 1995, purchased the Jones Mortuary in Mitchell, Nebraska, thus covering the entire Nebraska Panhandle area with the finest in funeral service.
In 2003, a state of the art crematory was added to the Scottsbluff operation, rounding out the total service package available to the families of our area.
Patrick T. Parks, Jeffrey A. Jolliffe, Michael M. Johnson, Scott L. Haun and Daniel J. Seger, all Nebraska Licensed Funeral Directors with the firm, bring to the families that we serve many years of successful service in all phases and aspects of funeral service.
